Gosh i really really really really really really really hope that happens!! If we can't get Villa then Tevez should be at the top of our wish list. He's a god!!

The fact that it would irritate all Man U fans is just an added bonus lol

Haven't Liverpool only got £50 Million to spend? I heard on the radio this morning that Liverpool are in the pole position to buy Tevez for £50 Million. And We (UTD) are selling Ronaldo for £75 million apparently, hope we buy someone as good or better than him with that money!

Lol trust me Liverpool aint going to buy one player for 50 mil. It just aint gunna happen. The papers love sensational stories. And besides, Tevez will be available for free so that makes no sense at all.

If we have got 50 mil to spend in total tho id be over the moon but again i dont think that is even close to the true figure. We probably have 15 - 20 million plus whatever we can make from selling players.

Yeah that's true, the press do love to make up stories about how much clubs have got to spend etc.

Why is Tevez going for free? Couldn't we sell him and make some money out of it? If he is going for free, Liverpool will get him because he said he wants to play for them and Rafa wants him too.

Well Tevez wants to play for Man Utd. He would only go to Liverpool if he cant stay at Man Utd but he is very determined. He would go to Liverpool because the premier league suits him and he doesnt want to play in a different league, and with Liverpool he can stay where he is and so doesnt have to uproot his family from their house in Cheshire.

But he would go for free because he is no longer contracted to West Ham and he was loaned directly from the company who owns his contract (against the rules of english football, not the loan but the contract ownership). So it isnt as clear cut as a typical Bosman ruling and it would need to go through the courts, but i suspect they would allow him to leave for free because the last ppl to sign him no longer have any claim to him, and the company that owns his contract are not entitled to recieve a transfer fee because they are not a football club (think of it this way... if they refused an offer Tevez, a footballer, wouldn't be able to play football at all until someone signs him so its not fair on the player).

Im not saying he'd definitely go for free but if anyone gets him for free i cant see it being United. If they did it would be a gross injustice because their loan contract states if they want him at the end of the loan they have to pay the agreed fee.

Man Utd will spend a while trying to get him, and so by the time Liverpool have a shot at him it could be near the end of the window, and that may not be enough time to go through the courts over it, and Rafa will not spend money on someone he feels should be free no matter how good he is. So im not too optimistic about Tevez coming to liverpool, and i still thnk Man Utd will sort it out somehow and manage to keep him.

Wow good post barcelonic! I forgot about the whole west ham thing that went on with Tevez and Macherano aswel for Liverpool.

I still don't want him to go because he's a good player, but if we replace him with somebody better then that's great :)

This should be an interesting summer in the transfer window :)

I saw this picture in the back of the daily mail so I googled it and thought I would show everyone, I fooled some people! :P
